I’ve been a fan of the Robin’s Nest and their awesome designers for quite some time. So when I saw their recent design team call, I decided to make the big leap and apply–especially since they were encouraging artists to think outside the box (I mean, really, could there be a better invitation?).
The Robin’s Nest Altered Art Project
Thinking outside the box seems to be my specialty. In one of my most recent posts, I took this to a literal level when I used The Robin’s Nest Sea Glass Tear Drops literally outside the box! While you can see additional photos and a full description of this project here, I’m including a couple photos of “Rain” the second in my Jane Austen Artist Trading Block (ATB) series, in this application post.
The Robin’s Nest Cards
Here are a few examples of greeting cards I made using The Robin’s Nest products. All of you who know me, know that I love anything circus. These two giraffe cards made with Honeycomb Distressed Cardstock, which reflect two distinct styles, are certain to brighten anyone’s day.
The other card can be given to a rainy day friend, or to someone going through a tough time. It uses The Robin’s Nest Honeycomb Distressed Cardstock, Baroque Specialty Paper and the Sea Glass Tear Drops.
fun projects, thanks
Thank you Terri 🙂
